Croatia – Geography
Jan 10th, 2010 by admin in 4. Eastern Europe, 4.1. Croatia
Croatia’s topography is diverse, from the plains of Slavonia, across the hills of central Croatia, then through Dalmatia along the rugged Adriatic coast. Although Croatia has 1185 islands and islets, only 66 are inhabited. There are 8 national parks across the country and a high level of environmental consciousness among Croatians.
