Europe is the destination of many tourists. Because there is so much to see and so much to do in Europe, many people decide to visit and travel though Europe on a European Cruise. This way, you can relax and enjoy the trip and get on shore and do some sightseeing or shop around in the most interesting parts of Europe, and not bore yourself with hours of train, bus and car rides. However, many people don’t know to pack for their European Cruises. Unlike backpacking trips of other trips where you have to move from city to city, country to country a fair bit, traveling on a European Cruise is lot easier, because you don’t have the luggage constraint. European cruises allow you to bring with your luggage and keep them safely in your bedroom without having to pack and unpack every time you go to a new city or country. Here is a list of ten essential items to bring on European cruises.
1) Euros!! Most of Europe now uses a common currency called the Euro. The Euro is the currency of 16 out of the 27 countries members of the European Union. The countries that use the Euro are Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain. Make sure to bring lots of them, because European cruises stops at many of the big cities in Europe that offer great shopping and have amazing restaurants!
2) Comfy shoes. Well you wouldn’t want to start your European cruise with blisters on your feet! While you will spend a lot of time enjoying yourself on the boat, you will also have a lot of time browsing off shore and do a lot sightseeing, therefore a lot of walking! Bring a comfy pair of shoe is a must, to enjoy your tour of Europe to the fullest.

3) A bathing suit. Because you will probably make use of it off-shore, on the pool of your European cruise ship, but also on-shore. European cruises often also stop by some of the most fantastic beaches of Europe. You wouldn’t want to miss on that!

4) Sunscreen. Because you would probably not have souvenirs of you and your European cruise with you looking like a lobster! The sun, especially for European cruises that go to Greece and all the Mediterranean countries, can get very strong during the day. And also to protect your screen from the damaging effects on the sun on your skin.
5) An umbrella. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict the weather long enough before you booking your European cruise. If it does happen to rain, you will still be able to walk around and do some sightseeing and keep your camera dry!
6) A notepad and a pen. To take notes. On the European cruise boat, you will probably get the chance to get advices and suggestions from the crew and the European cruises experts. You may want to write them down, so you can remember the name of that restaurant that serves the best paela or the best pizza in town, or so you can write down which museum or monuments you are more interesting in seeing.
7) Chic clothes. Although you will probably spend of your trip wearing a swimsuit, flip flops and sunglasses, most European cruises ships have fancy restaurants with a dress-code. Also, when your boat stops at one of the destination city for the night, you may want to enjoy some of the nightlife or the nicest restaurants in town.
8 ) A warm sweater. It can get very cool when the European cruise boat goes off-shore, especially at night time. That is why you will be glad to have a sweater to keep you warm when you will be enjoying a romantic night on the deck.
9) Sunglasses. During daytime, the sun can reflect against the water, and it can be difficult to enjoy the view without sunglasses.
